Blountville Ruritan Independence Day

The 2026 Blountville Ruritan Independence Day - AMERICA 250! - Parade will be on Saturday, July 4, at 2:00 pm. The theme of the parade is American Independence Day and America 250. There is no pre-registration or fee required. The parade will begin at Oak Street on the east side of town and end at the old Sullivan County courthouse in downtown Blountville. Line-up for the parade begins about 1:00 pm. Participants should enter the line-up area at Keystone Dr. There will be someone there to instruct you on where you should go to line up.
