Welcome to TriCitiesWhat (tricitieswhat.com), a free local-events directory operated by Manu Games LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using this site you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About this site (aggregator disclosure)

TriCitiesWhat is an events directory. We collect and organize event information that is already published on other public websites, and we link back to those sources. We do not host, organize, sponsor, run, staff, supervise, endorse, or vet any event, organizer, venue, vendor, business, or individual listed here. A listing is not a recommendation. We are not a party to anything you arrange with an organizer, venue, or service provider you find through this site, and we are not a ticket seller, a booking service, or a childcare agency, broker, or referral service.

2. No warranty; information may be wrong or outdated

Event details — dates, times, prices, locations, age limits, and whether an event is happening, sold out, moved, or cancelled — come from third-party sources and can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

THE SITE AND ALL LISTINGS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Always confirm details directly with the organizer or venue before you rely on a listing, buy a ticket, or travel to an event.

3. Third parties and their events

We are not responsible for, and disclaim all liability arising from, the acts or omissions of any third party — including any organizer, venue, vendor, sponsor, performer, instructor, caregiver, or attendee — or for the safety, conduct, quality, legality, pricing, cancellation, or refunds of any event. Your dealings with any third party you find through this site are solely between you and that third party.

4. Third-party websites

This site links to websites we do not own or control. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, products, services, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

5. Childcare, kids' programs, and caregivers — please read

Any listings in childcare or kids'/family categories are gathered from public sources. WE DO NOT VET, SCREEN, BACKGROUND-CHECK, FINGERPRINT, INTERVIEW, LICENSE-VERIFY, INSURE, OR SUPERVISE any childcare provider, camp, class, program, organization, or individual, and a listing is NOT a recommendation and NOT a statement that a provider is safe, qualified, licensed, or reputable.

Many kids' camps, classes, and clubs are not required to be licensed or inspected by the state, so do not assume any government oversight exists. YOU are solely responsible for independently checking out, and verifying the credentials, references, current licensing (or license-exempt status), and insurance of, any person or organization who would care for or supervise your child. By using these listings you accept that responsibility and assume the risk.

6. Assumption of risk

You use this site, attend events, contact organizers and venues, and arrange any services (including childcare) at your own risk and based on your own judgment and independent verification.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANU GAMES LLC AND ITS OWNER, MEMBERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR ANY EVENT, ORGANIZER, VENUE, OR PROVIDER YOU FOUND THROUGH IT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SITE (WHICH IS $0 FOR THIS FREE SITE) OR (b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, willful or intentional misconduct, or fraud.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Manu Games LLC and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of or relating to (a) your use of the site, (b) your dealings with any event, organizer, venue, or provider you found through the site, or (c) your violation of these Terms or of any law or the rights of any third party.

9. Copyright / DMCA takedown

We respect copyright and aim to publish only non-copyrightable facts plus our own short summaries, with links back to the source. If you believe content here infringes your copyright, email hey@tricitieswhat.com with: (1) your signature (physical or electronic); (2) identification of the copyrighted work; (3) identification of the material you say is infringing, with its URL; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement of your good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will respond as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

10. Request a correction or removal

If you are an organizer or venue and a listing about your event is wrong, out of date, or you'd like it removed, email hey@tricitieswhat.com and we will review and update or remove it, usually within a few business days. We list events to help the community and to send traffic to your site, and we're happy to honor reasonable correction and removal requests.

11. Public sources only; how we gather listings

We gather event information only from sources that are publicly accessible without logging in. We do not access private groups, members-only areas, or any login-gated content, and we honor websites' robots.txt directives and reasonable requests to stop accessing their content.

12. Trademarks / non-affiliation

Venue, event, and business names and logos mentioned here are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify and refer to those events and venues (nominative fair use). Their use does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement by those owners. TriCitiesWhat is an independent aggregator with no business relationship with the venues or organizers listed unless we expressly say so.

13. No professional advice

Everything on this site is for general informational purposes only and is not legal, financial, medical, safety, or childcare-suitability advice.

14. Acceptable use

Don't use the site for any unlawful purpose, don't scrape, copy, or republish our compiled listings in bulk, don't use the site to harass any organizer or venue, and don't interfere with or try to break the site.

15. Privacy

What this site collects is described in our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

16. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted; the “Last updated” date above shows when we last changed them. Continued use after we post changes means you accept them.

18. General

If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect (severability). These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
