Beethoven and Beginnings: Kingsport

We celebrate classical masterworks in two distinctive venues: the beautifully restored, traditional Paramount Bristol and the vibrant, contemporary Kingsport Farmers Market. The concerts will open with Beethoven’s Ruins of Athens Overture, which was also featured in SOTM’s first concert program 80 years ago. Next, principal clarinetist Victor Chavez will be the soloist in Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. The evening concludes with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2.
