Kid-friendly
An 83-year Appalachian tradition — Santa rides the rails from Virginia down into Kingsport, tossing gifts to families along the route, ending with a downtown celebration. The Saturday before Thanksgiving.
Every year
CSX Santa Train returns every year, typically the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
