Free Fiber Art Series, Grades 5-8

This year’s free mobile art classes for kids will be focusing on fiber arts! Your student will learn how to sew, weave, and felt in this 3-week series. Grades 5-8 will complete one project each week on October 6, 13, and 20. Classes run 4-5:30 pm in the V.O. Dobbins Community Room. Lesson 1: Sewing skills; students will leave with a fabric pillow or stuffed animal Lesson 2: Weaving on a tapestry loom; students will leave with a small, completed weaving Lesson 3: Wet felting; students will leave
